Race 1
FALCON TEN drops down from Maiden Special Weights and is likely to set the pace. I don't see anything that will bother him up front - if only Teator hadn't been signed on... oh well, let's hope the horse can overcome the rider.
Race 2
With 2 yr old fillies going long, anything can happen. The two girls on the outside look to have the breeding. LICKETY SLICK removes her hood and gets Cruz for good measure. She ran the best race of her career in last despite early trouble. The value, however, might be on CALLING NICOLE. Collazo can stretch them out with the best. Also looking at VELVETRY in my exotics.
Race 3
PELICAN ISLAND is trying grass for the first time after an 11.5 length destruction of a decent field in the slop going 2 turns. This might turn out to be an excellent filly and, although the bounce factor frightens me, I am willing to bet she's the real deal. She's bred up and down for turf. If they end up on the main track I'll lay off a little.
Race 4
MYSTERY'S JULES is likely to be the favorite in here - and deservingly so - but I'm going to back the other Jules filly, JULES FOR A.J. I think the month off and the reuniting with Lopez will be enough. Love the work on the 17th. All we need is a clean break.
Race 5
Salinas is always dangerous on the drop, but PASS MUSTER will have too much company on the lead. This will set things up nicely for WAKI DAYBREAK and CAPITAL CHARM. I like the breeding on TRUE CHARISMA he might be around for a piece as well.
